Welcome to TractorForums Bernhard!! Just make yourself at home and enjoy what looks like is going to be a great community. Ok, we got New Mexico and Texas here in the States, England and Germany in the EU!! That is spreading it out across the landscape pretty good I guess. The internet is a wonderful thing!! I know John is a OTR trucker and I am a tractor mechanic(Zetor), what about you guys from Europe? Coz

I learned as a mechanic for Farm equipment, but not at a dealer...it was a small workshop, where we also did harvest as a contractor with a Claas SF. Today I run a small landscaping business, make a bit deal with used garden equipment like ride-on mowers and saws, and have a parttime job at a family owned cattle dealers-biz in neighbour village, where I do everything....hauling, feeding, repair...nearly everything they want me to.

Johnston County NC. No real tractor yet. Craftsman DLT 3000 for the yard. Hope one day to have a Ford 8N, or 600 series Workmaster for parades and shows.
